One of the good things about writing a blog that no one reads is that you can’t be sacked for causing offence.
Here are some screenshots from this morning’s Times (London)

The security angle is strong. By talking about prisoners being released, the paper starts promoting an environment of fear. Fear about the permissive society. But there are some forms of permissiveness which are accepted – for example the paper is against health and safety and excessive regulation – the message is always that business must be unrestricted, unhampered by unnecessary rules that will only serve to slow down economic growth. You can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs etc. Of course some workers and consumers will die but at least the trains will innovate and run on time.
Then of course there is reference to Israel’s 9/11 – as if Israel had nothing to do with 9/11 itself 藍藍藍
The distortion and propaganda is slipped in wherever opportune – ie everywhere and always
Feels like another false flag in the run up to the Israeli election – Burnham will have to keep sucking up to Netanyahu and the Zionists – so far he hasn’t done anything to meaningfully threaten them.
The boycott of trade with illegal settlements is to be done extremely half heartedly and effectively signifies business as usual
If you can’t stop arming a genocidal entity during a genocide then you quite clearly back the genocide.
Burnham puts a target on our back at every turn – but this has been ongoing for 25 years now so it’s really nothing new any more.

Here they try to dramatise the “routine flight” which is of course another distortion because any flight coming in and out of Israel is basically a military flight aiding a genocide.

Esther Rantzen was an assisted dying / euthanasia campaigner with a long history of interaction with paedophiles while claiming to stand up to child abuse
She wasn’t known for campaigning against genocide
Standard operation for gaslight UK
And then there is the headline insinuating that Iran’s government was involved in the Fairford ‘plot’ – another headline that could have been written in Tel Aviv

Huge inflation is coming due to energy prices all because of wars that have been brought on by our out of control alliance with the United States. Yet somehow Burnham wants to walk the line between paying tribute to Trump as well as Von Der Leyen and the World Economic Forum etc

It’s a good point, but it’s also a useful way of arguing against contradiction, I have the exact opposite views of the author but I respect the technique and we’ll use it when talking about inconsistency over sanctions on Israel, members of parliament including on the labour left, refer to the same sanctions against illegal settlements but very few call for a total boycott of Israel, why is this? I think they’re scared.

Tuesday’s BBC news reports in the morning referred to the price of diesel, but none of them mentioned the effect of Ukraine strikes on Russia and the telephone call Trump made asking Zelensky to stop hitting Russian diesel plants – America is thinking of blocking diesel exports so they need Russian diesel production to be as high as possible to stabilise world markets – of course, the top priority is promoting Zelensky even when doing so repeatedly harms British interests – anything for the Cokehead of Kiev
